We had breakfast here on our second day in Washington and really enjoyed it. The food is really delicious and I especially recommend the chai latte. Definitely the best I've ever had. We were served by Sascha, a very friendly and lovely waiter. We would love to come back anytime!
Really nice clean, fresh cafe in the west end. Good food, a little elevated but not crazy gourmet, lots of choice, well timed service, efficient service and a nice casual atmosphere to hang out with friends. Avocado smash, athlete’s burrito both really good. Other people’s food in our group looked great as well. All plates were absolutely cleaned

Love this spot! The staff is wonderful- Sascha remembers our weekly order and greets us with a smile. The windows let in so much natural light and the food is delicious and quick. Their chili egg scramble and big brekkie are favorites.
Went in on a gorgeous Sunday for the fam weekend. Ordered an avo mash with chili oil and added a poached egg, it was unseasoned! But overall very good! Ordered the buratta prosciutto sandwich which had a fig jam on sourdough bread which was also amazing. Lastly the truffle grilled cheese - didn’t have much cheese. It was mainly greens, mushrooms, and butter. We also got the strawberry cloud matcha and that was super super good! It was sweet and fresh and had little strawberry bits. Overall the place was beautiful with pretty fast service and huge windows letting sunlight thru. Would definitely recommend!
Today was my first time at Bluestone Cafe and I went to the West End/Library location. It was fantastic. It's not like any other cafe in town. The Australian influenced menu is unique and absolutely delicious. We had the Avocado Smash, the BLATE sandwich and the Brisket Sandwich. You will love each of these. The brewed coffee is the best I have tasted. Just delicious. Our server, Merlin, was attentive and answered all of our questions about both the drink menu and the food menu. The atmosphere has a cool Australian vibe - it is so great.
Had breakfast at this lovely spot — the avocado toast with scrambled eggs was absolutely delicious! Even my daughter, who normally doesn’t eat avocado, enjoyed it. The matcha was also really good. We really liked the atmosphere: spacious, cozy, and the staff were very friendly and welcoming. Thank you!
